does yours have the plastic clips or the internal clips that requires a tool? if you need the tool, you take the tool and press in towards filter and pull the line at the same time. do this for both sides then remove the hold down bolt.How to change a fuel filter in a 1992 ford explorer?
Go to N.A.P.A. and get the disconnect tool, It may come w/instructions too. Be sure to loosen fuel cap first, or you may get a face full of high pressure fuel.
