just unscrew the gas cap to relief the pressure, disconnect negative battery terminal, unscrew the top n bottom with a wrench then reverse process.How do you change the fuel filter on a 1994 saturn sl2?
Buy the filter, start the engine, remove the fuel pump fuse and let the car idle until it stops, get under the car, put a catch pan under the filter, and use tools to remove it. Reverse process.
you might need a special tool to remove it , pull out your fuel pump fuse and run your car until it stalls, this will relieve the pressure in the gas line then remove the filter and install. make sure the arrow on the filter goes the rite way. then plug back in the fuel pump fuse then turn key forward and wait till the pump stops then turn over engine
